I am an international contemporary abstract artist. My paintings are characterised by their vibrant colors, metallic finishes and bold textures derived from natural elements.

How my unique experiences are reflected in my art
A tug of war between East & West
Born in Hong Kong, I grew up with the values of freedom, productivity, hard work and cultural diversity...
That also came with very traditional Asian expectations of risk-avoidance and prioritisation of financial success over artistic expression.
But life in Australia, Mexico and the ex-Soviet Republic of Georgia has shown me that there's more to life than what I've been taught as a kid.
Through my art, I try to reconcile these conflicting ways of life and express my struggles in finding a place in the world that shares the unique combination of what matters most to me.
Over the past few years, this has been amplified even further by China's continued destruction of Hong Kong as an autonomous city.
I include many of these elements in both obvious and abstract ways and invite you to discover them in my art.
Life stories told in art
Every painting tells a story. Some are bitter, some are sweet. But all of them are made with the intention to find hope and peace in life, to remind ourselves of all the good and beauty around us, especially during tough times.
Using vivid colors and striking textures, I capture the raw intensity of emotions - passion, ecstasy, joy, frustration, anger, hopefulness, optimism.
My artwork has a strong focus on exploring different cultures in the world, reconciling the differences, overcoming struggles, seeking peace, and above all, attempting to deepen my understanding of myself and the world.
You and I may not be physically next to each other, but I hope to connect with you via art -- a form of communication that transcends language and cultural barriers, geographic boundaries and emotional blockage.
In my art, you’ll find nostalgic remnants of my childhood in Hong Kong, my memories from the Black Sea, the coastline of Australia, the pristine beaches of Mexico and more.
Each piece is unique and only one of them exist in the world - just like you and me.
Made with bold textures, natural elements and a metallic touch
In my abstract, mixed-media paintings, you’ll find bold textures and vibrant colors combined with raw elements from nature, as well as metallics including 24k gold leaf, 18k rose gold, and genuine silver leaf.
I love experimenting with natural objects to create greater depth and dimension in my artwork.
